ARCHES Velin d'ARCHES Print Making Paper
Like all the ARCHES papers, the Velin d’ARCHES Print Making Paper range is made on a cylinder mould at the Arches Paper mill in the Vosges. This traditional cold-pressed method ensures that the fibres are evenly distributed which makes the paper stronger and extremely dimensionally stable.
Lightly sized, it is excellent for all printmaking methods such as lithography, intaglio engraving, relief printing, linocut, letterpress, silkscreen, hot-foil stamping, blind embossing, collotype printing, and bookbinding. It allows to obtain relief effects and is easily erasable without leaving marks or linting. It is ideal for drawing: pencil, pastel, charcoal, sanguine crayon, and felt pen.
Available Formats:
119gsm, 160gsm, 200gsm, 250gsm, 270gsm, 300gsm, and 400gsm sheets
56 x 76cm, 65 x 70cm, 105 x 75 cm, 120 x 80cm and 120 x 160cm sheets
