ARCHES Velin BFK Rives Print Making Paper

Like all the papers that make up the ARCHES range, Velin BFK Rives is made on a cylinder mould at the Arches Paper mill in the Vosges. 100% cotton, Velin BFK Rives sheets are watermarked and with 4 deckle edges.

Velin BFK Rives is an archival-quality paper. Its smooth surface, soft texture and light sizing allow it to pick up every detail. It is therefore excellent for all printmaking methods such as lithography, intaglio engraving, relief printing, linocut, letterpress, silkscreen, hot-foil stamping, heat embossing, collotype printing, bookbinding or special applications (prints, greetings cards, invitations and announcement cards). It is also very suited for all drawing techniques: graphite, pastel, charcoal, pencil, sanguine crayon, felt pen, and calligraphy.
