ARCHES Dessin Paper

Like all the papers that make up the ARCHES range, ARCHES 88 is made on a cylinder mould at the Arches Paper mill in the Vosges.

75% cotton, the 105gsm pads, glued on the short side, include 20 sheets. It is an archival-quality paper. Its surface gelatin-sizing limits the paper’s absorption capacity. The laid lines give the paper a certain relief and a prestigious surface that preserves every nuance of the pencil stroke and gives depth to the drawing. It is ideal for pencil, pastel, charcoal, sanguine crayon, graphite, calligraphy, pen and ink, felt pen, gouache, marbling, letterpress, blind embossing, and bookbinding.
